Gorge Aviation Services is in the process of launching a fractional ownership program, whereby our clients can purchase a share of an aircraft, which Gorge Aviation Services will manage, maintain and fly for its owners.
If you are interested in such an arrangement, contact us.

- Insurance time minimums (Ask about our non-owned insurance coverage)
- Flying friends, family and business clients in your aircraft

- Ferry flights of newly purchased/sold aircraft (our full time pilot is also an A&P, which can help consolidate the expense of your aircraft purchase or sale)
- Safety pilot support during high workload, high pressure flights, or flights to unfamiliar destinations
- Assistance with US-Canada border crossing procedures

Private Pilot Course
Flying continues to be the safest and most efficient mode of transportation. At Gorge Aviation Services, we train pilots to keep it that way. We not only take pride in training safe pilots, but also strive to make flying a fun and rewarding experience. Obtaining your Private Pilot Certificate will be one of the most memorable adventures of your life. You will find the process challenging and extremely fulfilling.
To become a private pilot you need a FAA minimum of 40 hours of total flight time, which must consist of at least 20 hours of dual instruction and 10 hours of solo flight. We follow a 61-part training structure, which enables great flexibility and a fun learning environment. With the assistance of our instructors and our custom textbook, you can track your progress, come to each lesson prepared, and leave each lesson feeling a sense of accomplishment.
Instrument Rating Course
Obtaining an instrument rating not only enables you to fly in challenging weather conditions but also makes you a more well-rounded pilot. At Gorge Aviation Services, we follow a proven and effective curriculum that will help guide you through FAA Check ride and set you up for a lifetime of safe instrument flight. This will vastly improve your airplane handing skills, flight planning, and will likely lower your insurance rates as well.
The Garmin 1000 avionics suite offers up to the minute weather information, live traffic alerts in busy airspace, and all of the airport and frequency information you’d ever want — right at your fingertips. In short, the Garmin 1000 avionics suite gives pilots an unmatched margin of safety. For most current pilots with little or no GPS experience, training will take less than five hours in the air for VFR applications. For current IFR pilots, combine your Technically Advanced Aircraft transition with your next IPC! We also stock Max Trescott’s popular G1000 and GPS handbooks for home study to augment your hands-on experience with us.

Inspections / Routine Maintenance / Parts / Detailing / PSI Lasergrade Testing
We are your local mechanic and maintenance shop. Every mechanic and IA we work with is also a pilot, so we understand the trust involved in aircraft maintenance. Rest assured, any aircraft we work on is maintained to the highest standards — without breaking the bank.
We also welcome ‘owner-assist’ projects. After all, it’s the owner or operator who is truly responsible for keeping their aircraft in airworthy condition.
Annual Condition Inspections (Experimental)
We stock most routine mainenance parts. If we don’t have it, chances are someone in our local parts network does.
Make your aircraft look new again. We’ll give your aircraft a full interior and exterior cleaning, including the engine compartment.
PSI Lasergrade Testing
We are the only testing center in the gorge. We are open for testing during normal business hours. You may schedule a test through PSI / Lasergrade directly, or just give us a call.
Make sure to bring:
- Government issued photo ID
Proof of address if different from your ID
Sales / Current Inventory / Pre-Purchase Inspections
Allow us to help you find a perfect match for your aircraft as you move to the next model, or help you locate that next dream plane. We can help answer questions from prospective buyers, and in turn know exactly what to ask of sellers.
Our expertise as instructors, pilots and aircraft mechanics make us uniquely suited to assist in aircraft sales and acquisition.
No Aircraft in Stock at this time.
A complete pre-purchase inspection of a used aircraft can be the best money you ever spend. Though purchasing a used aircraft can result in years of enjoyment and trouble free transportation, improper pre-sale inspection can result in years of unforeseen expenses and potentially life-threatening issues.
We can travel to a prospective aircraft prepared with the latest information on airworthiness directives and model-specific issues. Following a complete and thorough inspection, we will provide a detailed report of our findings. If the aircraft passes our inspection, we can also help you close the deal and fly your aircraft home.
Private Pilot / Private Pilot Refresher / Custom Ground Class
